  • Are bilingual books right for me and my family?

Bilingual books are perfect for kids speaking two languages (for example one language at school, another language at home).

They also can be useful for adults learning a new language (and they are MUCH more fun than standard textbooks).  

Please note that the translated versions of each book have been written to be as close as possible. However, in some cases they differ in order to accommodate nuances and fluidity of each language and therefore cannot be used as word by word translation.

  • I can't find books in my native language on this website. What should I do?

Please contact us at support@kidkiddos.com and let us know what language you're interested in. We are constantly working on adding new languages to our collection and would be happy to hear your suggestions. 

  • Who translated the books?

The books are translated by native speaker on the language and edited by at least one additional native speaker. The name of the translator appears on the inside cover of the book, just under the copyright statement.

  • What is ebook?

Ebook is a PDF file of the book, formatted especially for reading on various types of electronic devices.
 
  • Are ebooks returnable?
All ebooks, audio-books, video-books or gift cards purchases are FINAL sale and are NOT returnable.

  • What is the currency for all prices?

The prices on the website are in your country currency. You can change this currency by clicking on flag at the right top corner of the page, beside the shopping cart symbol. 

  • Are online transactions secure?

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

  • What countries do you ship?

We are happy to offer worldwide shipping. Some exclusions may apply.

Depending on customer's address, the books are shipped from one of our 4 printing houses located in US, Canada, UK and Australia. 

Depending on your location order processing time may vary from 5-10 business day. Shipping times depend on the shipping method you've chosen (may take up to 5 weeks depending on location). 

Please select your country from the drop-down list in the checkout section after which you will be informed of the expected shipping cost. If your country is not on the list, please contact us at support@kidkiddos.com as we might be able to add your country to the list or ship to you as a special order.

  • Customers in US receive their books from our US printing house - no custom fees.
  • Customers in Canada receive their books from our Canadian printing house - no custom fees.
  • Customers in Europe receive their books from our UK printing house Please check custom fees policies with your local border services agency. 
  • Customers in Australia receive their books from our Australian printing house- - no custom fees.
  • Customers in New Zealand receive their books from our  printing house in UK - usually no custom fees on orders less than 380 NZD. This number is just an estimation.  Please check custom fees policies with your local border services agency. We have no control over these charges, nor can we predict what they may be. 
  • Rest of the word customers receive their book from either US , UK  or Australian location. Custom fees may apply for your package. Please check custom fees policies with your local border services agency. We have no control over these charges, nor can we predict what they may be. 
  • What should I know as an international customer?

Note that international orders may be subject to customs fees and import duties based on the country where the order was shipped. We are not responsible for customs fees and local taxes, and charges are not incorporated into the total cost of your order.

The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. International orders may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient's country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be fulfilled by the recipient; we have no control over these charges, nor can we predict what they may be.
Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for more information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.
  • When I try to submit my order I can't find my country for delivery.

  • What is your return policy?

We hope you LOVE your purchase. But in case you don't... you can return the full price purchased books to us for a full refund. Shipping costs are NON-refundable in any case. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund. Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order at support@kidkiddos.com

All ebooks, audio-books, video-books or gift cards purchases are FINAL sale and are NOT returnable.

Bulk and discounted orders are NOT returnable. Only full priced orders are returnable. 

To be eligible for a return, your book must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

We must receive the return within 14 days from the day the return authorization was issued. Returns that are damaged will not be accepted. We reserve the right to reject any returns that do not meet these conditions. 

  • What if my package is refused or undelivered?

If you refuse your order or refuse to pay your local taxes/customs or if we can´t deliver the books because of incorrect information provided by you, you will not be refunded. Orders that were not picked up, will not be refunded.

KidKiddos Books is located in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
